Apple held a virtual event this week. Major items included:
Friday night baseball deal for Apple TV+. 2 games. We'll see if the coverage of 2 games is different than we have seen from other vendors.
iPhone SE at very attractive prices with up to date chips inside. For those wanting a small phone, this one is packed with most of the latest stuff (A15 chip, up to date cell network). Starting at $429 this should be aa good starter phone for people who don't care about the best camera in their phone.
Updated iPad Air. Good value relative to the current iPad Pro models. As Adam Engst says this was a spec update.
Big announcement was the Mac Studio and related Mac Studio Display. For professional applications, these are priced starting at $2K and $4K, with displays between $1600 and $2000.
This effectively replaces the 27" iMac in the lineup.
Availability on all these products starts March 18. Stay tuned for the first reviews when these hit in the wild and in the stores.
